Gorilla Grodd
Voiced By: Powers Boothe
Classification: Power Character
Biography: Gorilla Grodd is one of The Flash's enemies from Gorilla City, a city in the jungles of Africa populated by intelligent gorillas. He has amazing intelligence and force of mind capabilities, thanks to being exposed to a space-rock that landed in his jungle.
Intro: A hover car seems to lands on the floor of the arena to which Gorilla Grodd comes out, weapons in holsters and armor, saying "Delightful, another weak mind to dominate over.", ready to fight.
Post-Round Taunt: Grodd shakes his head at the opponent in disgust as he claps his hands, saying "Moron..." or "Well, thank you for... That."
Outro: Grodd simply laughs, saying "Once again, i have proven i got more brains than you." before entering his hover car, flying away before being shown landing in Gorilla City.
Special Moves:
Physical Stance Special Moves-
Grodd Rush: Grodd charges at the opponent with a shoulder rush, knocking the opponent to the ground. (Meter Burn: Instead of shoulder rushing them, he grabs the opponent to the ground, beating them with his fists.)
Don't Pet Me: Grodd does a brutal hammerstrike upward swing with his fists, knocking the opponent in the air for a free hit or combo. (Meter Burn: After the first hit, Grodd grabs the opponent and slams them to the ground two times, bouncing into the air for a free hit or combo.)
Gorilla Stomp: Grodd does a big foot stomp while in the air onto the opponent. (Meter Burn: After it connects, Grodd stomps his foot onto the opponent against the ground before kicking them away.)
Monkey Throw: Grodd grabs the opponent by the head and throws them over his shoulders behind him onto their head. (Meter Burn: After the opponent hits the ground, Grodd grabs them again and body slams them to the ground.)
Air Grab: Grodd, while in the air, can grab a airboune opponent and do a brutal backbreaker to them.
Weapon Stance Special Moves-
Pulse Rifle: Grodd fires his Pulse Rifle at the opponent, knocking them back. (Meter Burn: Grodd fires a bigger, more charged up blast that can bounce the opponent off the ground for a free hit or combo.)
Air Pulse Rifle: Grodd fires his Pulse Rifle at the airbourne opponent, knocking them to the ground.
Flash Grenade: Grodd throws a flash grenade at the opponent, if it coneects, he'll blind his eyes as it explodes, blinding the opponent for a free hit or combo.
Mind Over Matter: Grodd uses his mind to fire a psionic blast that can bring the opponent to the ground in pain. (Meter Burn: Instead of falling to the ground, the opponent instead is stunned for a free hit or combo.)
Telepathic Camouflage: Grodd uses his mind to cloak himself to the opponent's eyes, almost making himself almost invisible unless it wears off or he is hit. (Meter Burn: Grodd turns fully invisible and gives him a slight damage boost.)
Mind Shield: Grodd uses his mind to erect a psychic shield for protection against projectile attacks.
Throw:
Forward: Slams the opponent down with both hands to the ground before using his mind to send a psionic blast at the opponent, knocking them back.
Back: Slams the opponent down with both hands to the ground before going behind the opponent and using his mind to send a psionic blast at the opponent, knocking them to the ground.
Character Trait:
Brains or Brawn: Grodd can switch his fighting style between using more physical attacks and more weapon based attacks, resulting in different moves for each style and combos, even in the middle of a combo. While using his physical stance, Grodd's movement speed and dash/jump range increase, but the range of his attacks becomes shorter while the weapon stance increases the range of his attacks at the cost of mobility.
Super Move:
I Hate Bananas: Grodd fires a quick, but huge psionic blast, knocking the opponent back as they hold their heads in pain before he pounces on the opponent, savagely beating the opponent with his fists before throwing them high in the air to which Grodd takes out a collapsible RPG and fires it at the airbourne opponent, damaging them badly as they fall on the ground hard.
Ending: With Superman dead, Gorilla Grodd couldn't help but feel prideful. After being put on Stryker's Island for denying a chance to join the Regime and insulting the High Councilor right to his face, Grodd broke out in the middle of a prison transport. Putting to use some new weapons and technology stolen from Superman's Fortress, all of humanity will fall and the Gorillas will rise...
