Biography: The ruler of Apokolips, Darkseid is a merciless tyrant demanding unwavering devotion and utter fear from all his subjects. A being of unparalleled strength, he prefers not to deal with combat unless provoked to action.

Intro: Darkseid grins evily as he sits in his throne room in Apokolips before entering a boomtube, appearing in the arena, saying "Earth now belongs to Darkseid...", ready to fight.

Post-Round Taunt: Raises his hand up, saying "Pafetic Earthling..." or he laughs evily.

Outro: Darkseid laughs evily, looking down at the opponent before saying "Now, the invasion begins...", looking up at the sky as various boomtubes open in the sky, parademons flying out to invade.

Special Moves:
Omega Beam: Darkseid blasts his infamous Omega Beams from his eyes at his opponent. (Meter Burn: It does more damage and is faster.)
Anti-Air Omega Beam: Darkseid blast his Omega Beams from his eyes at the airbourne opponent. (Meter Burn: It does more damage and is faster.)
Omega Tremor: Darkseid slams his fists into the ground creating a shockwave around him, knocking the opponent in the air if close enough. (Meter Burn: When the opponent goes up into the air, he grabs the opponent by the neck, throwing them down, bouncing them up, open for a free hit or combo.)
Omega Knee: Darkseid leaps at his opponent, knee out, hitting the opponent to the ground.
Omega Force: Darkseid leaps high into the air and then comes down like a meteor, creating a quick shockwave and possibly landing on his opponent. (Meter Burn: After he lands on the opponent, he slams his fists into their face two times.)

Throw:
Forward: Grabs the opponent and throws them into the air in front of him, blasting them back to the ground with a Omega Beam blast.
Back: Grabs the opponent and throws them into the air behind him, blasting them back to the ground with a Omega Beam blast.

Character Trait:
Omega Effect: Darkseid's eyes glow red, becoming near invulnerable, preventing pop-up combos, makes enemy's projectiles ineffective and cancels throws for a short while.

Super Move:
Apokolips Now: Darkseid roars in anger as he charges the opponent, tackling them into a boomtube portal that appears behind them, sending them to Apokolips to which he throws the opponent to some Parademons who attack the opponent. Darkseid jumps down and starts beating the opponent with his fists before blasting the opponent back with his Omega Beams into another boomtube, sending the opponent back.

Ending: Darkseid was angered and enraged at the death of his son Kalibak at the hands of Superman. But brute force wouldn't help him in his plans, so Darkseid instead offered his and his planet's support for the Regime, seeking to destroy them from the inside and when they fought the Insurgency at Stryker's Island, Darkseid made his strike, killing both groups personally before focusing his attention on other universes...

Trivia:
- Steven Blum has also voiced Darkseid in the upcoming "Justice League: War" along with voicing Logan/Wolverine in multiple "X-Men" games and cartoons and Spike Spiegel in "Cowboy Bebop".
- If you play as Darkseid in the Hall of Justice Arena, when you activate the Boomtube stage transation, Orion will be in his throne instead.
